CDL Training in Henderson, CO: A Local Guide for Denver-Area Students

Searching for CDL training near Denver does not mean you have to commute across the entire metro area or wait months for a class. CDL PROGRAMS AVAILABLE IN HENDERSON

Students can train for a Class A CDL, which is designed for large combination vehicles such as tractor-trailers, or a Class B CDL, commonly used for large single vehicles such as dump trucks, straight trucks, cement mixers and utility trucks.

Your best choice depends on the equipment used by the employers you want to work for. Reviewing local job postings before enrolling can help you identify whether employers require Class A, Class B or specific endorsements.

HOW LONG DOES TRAINING TAKE?

True Safety’s daytime Class A program runs for two weeks, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The daytime Class B program runs for one week on the same schedule. Evening and weekend arrangements may also be available for working students.

Classes begin regularly, helping students move forward without waiting for a traditional semester.

UNDERSTANDING ELDT

Federal Entry-Level Driver Training requirements apply to many first-time CDL applicants. True Safety is listed on the FMCSA Training Provider Registry and provides applicable theory and behind-the-wheel training.

Students must obtain the proper Colorado commercial learner’s permit before completing behind-the-wheel requirements and the state skills test. Our team can explain the enrollment sequence so you know what must happen before class begins.

WHAT DOES CDL TRAINING COST?

The current Class A training and test package is $4,750. The Class B training and test package is $3,750. Eligible students may be able to use workforce funding or GI Bill® benefits, and employers can sponsor employees directly.

Funding approvals can take time, so contact the appropriate program early and communicate with our registration team about your intended class date.

WHY LOCATION MATTERS

A nearby training location makes it easier to arrive on time, stay consistent and complete an intensive program. Henderson is a practical option for students on the north and east sides of Denver who want focused CDL instruction without traveling to another region of Colorado.
