DOT Physicals (FMCSA-Compliant)

A DOT physical is a federally required medical exam for commercial drivers to confirm they are medically qualified to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. At True Safety, DOT physicals are performed by certified medical examiners and completed efficiently, professionally, and in full compliance with FMCSA regulations.

What to Bring

  • Valid photo ID
  • Current driver’s license
  • Corrective lenses or hearing aids (if applicable)
  • List of current medications
  • Medical documentation for any chronic conditions

How to Prepare

  • Get a good night’s sleep before your appointment
  • Avoid caffeine, nicotine, and heavy meals beforehand
  • Take prescribed medications as directed
  • Bring required paperwork for known medical conditions
