H2S Clear Training

Veriforce Certified Instructors

Hydrogen Sulfide is known as the “Silent Killer” because you cannot see it, cannot always smell it, and in high concentrations it can kill with just one breath.

A lot of companies offer H2S training without the proper credentials. Be aware. At True Safety, our instructors are official H2S Clear certified, so your team gets legitimate, recognized training that meets industry expectations.

Meet H2S — The Silent Killer

The primary method of H2S exposure is through inhalation, where the gas is rapidly absorbed by the lungs. At low concentrations, people may notice a “rotten egg” odor.

But after continuous low-level exposure, or with higher concentrations, a person can lose the ability to smell the gas. That means workers cannot rely on their sense of smell to detect hydrogen sulfide. Proper training is critical.
